Management
Dr. William Royea,
President and Co-founder, oversees the company and its
operations. Dr. Royea has extensive experience in leading
business development projects and manufacturing improvement
initiatives for pharmaceutical, medical diagnostic, and
petrochemical companies. He was previously a management
consultant with McKinsey & Company. Dr. Royea holds
a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Caltech.
Dr. Nathan Lewis,
a Professor of Chemistry at the California Institute of
Technology, is Co-Founder and serves as the company’s
chairman and head of the Scientific Advisory Board. Dr.
Lewis is co-inventor of the patented sensor technology.
Dr. Lewis also serves as a member of the Technical Advisory
Board for BP and as an editor for numerous leading scientific
journals. Dr. Lewis earned an M.S. in Chemistry from Caltech
and a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from MIT.
